DCI has been invited by the Phi Beta Psi Sorority to submit up to two research applications focused on brain, breast, colorectal, endometrial, lung, ovarian, pancreatic or prostate cancer. Preference is given to Young Investigators with documented evidence of potential for conducting novel research of either basic or clinical aspects of cancer and cancer related problems. Applications from Established Investigators exploring new and innovative areas of cancer research also will be considered.
Last year, the organization awarded a total of $366,816 to six (6) cancer investigators across the United States who are pursuing a wide variety of research projects. It is anticipated that five or six grants in the amount of $40,000 to $60,000 annually will be awarded in 2021.
The DCI is invited to submit two nominees, therefore we will be conducting an internal review of applications. The following items are required and will be reviewed by the DCI’s Scientific Review Committee.
